Photo Post: Contax 137 MA and Models (figurines)

I recently took some photos of a friend’s baby. While there, the husband showed me his “model” room… oooh could I come back and take some photos of those?? Sure no problem.

So a little later, I went back with a film camera and started shooting. Luckily for me, he was waiting for a new figure to arrive, Two Face.

They were perfect models, staying very still 🙂

He had some larger ones and agreed to bring them off the shelf for me to get closer to. They were quite expensive and heavy. I didn’t want to touch them in any way. So he did all the moving and lifting. You can see he is more of a DC fan, whereas I like marvel more. Of course there were some other figures, Warcraft? I know absolutely nothing about those or that game. Love the models though. He has been painting them since he was very young, he is amazing, very talented.

These were all taken with a Cokin close-up filter and a desk lamp. The film was Ilford Pan 400 developed in Pyro.

I loved it, I wish I could be rich from this and baby photos 🙂

Would you mind if I steal this idea? I am terribly late with my Frugal Film Project commitment for October and can’t get out at the moment…. This has given me a kick up the arse!
