I recently went to London for the day. It was a long and tiring day trip from Yorkshire, but it was worth it as I got the chance to meet Keiko Mizuno or lomo_keiko as she is known on Instagram. Keiko travels the world with her trusty Lomo LC-A+ capturing “Tokimeki” moments, following one of Lomography’s golden rules – “Don’t think, Just shoot!”.
With her fresh in my mind, I decided to load my own LC-A with a roll of Wonderpan. I used it all on a walk to the cinema one Saturday morning. I just walked and shot at anything that caught my eye, not overthinking, just shooting. I finished the roll as I walked into the cinema. It seemed fitting that I was going to see Godzilla Minus One, as Keiko is from Japan.
This is the whole roll, blurs and all. You can tell I got a bit obsessed by the pigeons and I returned to the area after the cinema visit.

I think I might need to practice this style as maybe it doesn’t involve taking so many shots of the same thing, or maybe it doesn’t matter because that is what I wanted to shoot at that point. I really like the shot of the children on bikes, looking at the pigeons. And the one of the children feeding them…the pigeons, not the children on bikes 😉
So there you go, a whole roll of shooting with little thinking.
