Right now, I feel particularly busy due to the end of the school year, my recent hospital visit and the World Cup. I am writing this just after England narrowly beat DR Congo. Jeez, the team likes to make us sweat. Anyway, all that means I haven’t prepared any new camera posts. However, I do have some photos I never got around to putting online.
These selections are from an expired disposable camera I received for Xmas and the Flashback digital disposable. I took the former on a walk around Wakefield and then on a quick trip to London.

I got a lovely selection of stuff last year, the disposable is in the bottom left. Despite being out of date, the flash worked, and the film still held lots of colour.

I like the results from the disposable’s 400asa film. I will never buy a disposable camera, but receiving one as a gift was fun. After I returned my test Flashback to the rightful owner, I was lucky enough to receive my own example. I took it on a recent trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. It was the first time I had ever been there, which is surprising given its historical importance.
Here are a few examples from the two different ‘films’ I finished.

I found the Flashback was great for general use, but I really missed a zoom at times, or even a more accurate viewfinder. Saying that, you can always crop in post-production.
Well, I’d better get ready to watch the next match and prepare for a one am start for England’s next match.
I bought a disposable camera years back, just to try out the panoramic effect. The pictures were OK, but I never bought another one.
My attitude is “why buy dispos when I can stick half a dozen films in the same area?”
Me too, so wasteful. But using ones that are expired, well might as well.
