In my last post, I said I would upload the rest of the new Phoenix film. Well, here it is. I used a Pentax Espio 170 SL and wandered London after the parade. Then I finished the film around my home and at Tatton Park near the Japanese Garden. The weather at Tatton was atrocious. We have barely had any rain this summer; we are in a drought. But that day, the heavens opened, and they stayed open most of the day. I think that affected the results. As with the first version, I think Phoenix II needs lots of light.

The results are so much better than the first version of Phoenix. I specifically looked for red for a few shots to compare. I would buy it again.

As for Tatton Park, I loved the gardens. The ticket I have is good for a year, so I will go back. I wasn’t so impressed by the house. Half of it was closed for a wedding, and the price was not reduced. It was also dark and lacklustre. You can see some more photos from Tatton Park Gardens in this post.
