Photo Post: A Return to the Konica MR.640

A while ago, someone read my previous post on this camera and asked me a question about it. Of course, I no longer own the camera…or any genba for that….and I got sad. Why don’t I own one? They used to be my favourite a few short years ago. So I went on a search and found one for sale at less than ÂŁ20 and I bought it. I loaded it with a roll of Kodak 200 and wandered around. I ended up visiting Wales, a dragon…not in Wales, Runcorn, but finished most of the film off in Thirsk. The latter was a lovely place that I haven’t visited before. One of the things I love about having this blog is that it pushes me to get out and explore new places.

Here are most of the results.

Actually, my favourite part of Thirsk were the pigs in the sculpture park. They ran to the fence and jumped up, obviously waiting to be fed. There was a sign on the gate saying they bite so I kept my fingers and snacks out of reach.

I still love this camera, it is perfect for the rainy weather we have been experiencing lately 🙂
