I had a roll of the original Harman Phoenix left and wanted to use it up, as I much prefer the new emulsion. I took it on a few wanders around my local area, but mainly used it at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. There was a new Damien Hirst sculpture I wanted to see. It would have been nice to have a 360-degree view of it, but it was in a building with no access, only a frontal view.
These shots were taken back in January, on one of the few dry days. It was very cold, though, as you can see by the frosty leaves.
I chose the Konica Auto Reflex as I haven’t used it in a while and it needed to be used. Film cameras definitely have a “use it or lose it” vibe.

I find the new emulsion is more true in terms of colour rendition. I think if I wanted this much red, I would actually shoot RED, which I actually like. 🙂
I like Phoenix I, it was definitely a decent first attempt by Harman at making a brand new colour film. It is not an easy task!
I agree completely, I bought a couple of rolls of each format. I found the 120 more to my liking. But now the II is out I would rather shoot that if I opt for colour
