After I received this camera from the surprise bag, I loaded it with another gift, a roll of Lucky Color 200 film. I then carried it around with me for a few weeks. I ended up taking it to London a couple of times, to Ilkley and around my local area.
Here are lots of my results, including a surprised father when I first tried it out…the flash works 🙂

The first collection of graffiti shots was taken in Leake Street Arches. I loved wandering that area, and there were works by Banksy and Mr Doodle to name just a couple of artists. After that, we have a few that were taken in Roupell Street. It was like stepping into the past. I highly recommend reading the linked article.
Next, there are a few photographs taken while I was in Ilkley for a workshop. That was run by Photo Hub North and involved Nellie the Culture Cam. I think it was run as an introduction to the upcoming Photo Ilkley Festival. I had my photo taken by the caravan converted into a pinhole camera and darkroom. Here is the resultant photo! I had to stand still for quite a while, so I chose a Superman pose.

It was an interesting workshop and really showed what you could achieve with imagination and a little knowledge. I would always recommend a trip to Ilkley and the surrounding moors, one of my favourite places to wander.
You can see I tried the panoramic feature at my local train station. I like the format, but it is really just an in-camera cropping, which could be done post-process with the full-frame image.
It’s a great camera and film, I will definitely use the latter again. As for the camera, it is as good as I remember. I am making a package to donate to a friend’s photography charity, and this might go in it. I said I would donate some of the funds I got from the bag to cancer research, so it seems fitting to offer this camera to charity, too. OR, I will keep this one and offer up a similar one from my collection. I will ponder it for a few more days.
This little Olympus camera does its job very well. On the other hand, it’s always good to know that 35mm film is available and in production, and with really good results! Beautiful photos! Great photo of the pinhole camera. Roupell Street is undoubtedly a London gem that deserves to be visited. I loved it.
I have a habit of putting placemarks on locations when I read or see something of interest. It paid off on that trip as Roupell and Leake street were very close together. It made a nice walk from Blackfriars. Nice camera, nice film, always a good combination.
