Well, this was clearly a slow month as there were only 2 posts for me to update. I must have been out playing with my new scooter or going to Hanami picnics. Boy, I loved that scooter. Riding through the fields and mountains on it was so much fun. It was a spur-of-the-moment buy. I saw it for sale on a local website and realised I had a motorbike licence; it was transferred over when I did my car licence. I originally got my licence in the UK when I was 18, before I got a car one. I almost killed myself before I even passed my test, just over a month before my 18th birthday. I was in the hospital for a week and couldn’t walk without crutches for many months. It definitely affected my outlook on life, live for the now. I rarely make long-term plans.
