I was given this Washi X film by a friend and now I love it. I tend not to buy colour film, but look at the photos below. I love the blues this film captures. I might buy myself a few rolls for my birthday.
I was visiting Liverpool with a friend for a photo walk and it happened to be the Pride Parade too. What a perfect event to try out a new-to-me colour film. I loaded it into a newly reskinned (this camera is on its 3rd skin) Olympus OM10.

I had added the glitter for it to be a gift for my friend, turns out she is allergic to glitter. She could never be a little person teacher. Anyway, I decided to use the camera for the pride event…it was perfect 😉
At first, I was a little nervous about getting into random people’s faces with the camera. So in the end, I started asking people if I could take their photos.
I didn’t finish the film and ended up taking it on a rainy camping trip to Castleton, two very different locations. Here are the results, I am not sure why the first few shots were fogged.

The lovely lady who was cosplaying has offered to model for me in the future, I hope I can get that worked out. I guess you will find out in upcoming blog posts.
Such cheerful color. Thanks for turning me on to this!
Well, it was a cheerful day 😀
I love Washi X, it’s my favorite color film along with the other brands of the same stock (Kodak Aerocolor IV).
Me too, I wish it was easier to get.
Is the Flic Film, I think it’s called Santa Color available? It’s the same stuff. There’s one other brand, but I can’ recall the name.
I am not sure about santa colour but I do think it is kodak Aerocolor which is flic electra. Both are expensive £15+ and in limited supply.
