A camera lover with the heart of a Womble

Big Royal View Update

Posted on 2019-04-03 by Peggy Posted in Junk Camera FindsTagged 35mm, big, camera, nokina, royal, view

I found another one of these cameras, this time a Nokina version and the battery compartment is not corroded. So I have updated the original post to reflect the new test photos.

I am not sure it was worth the effort.

It was a miserable week in terms of weather in Skye. I was glad I packed a light pocketable camera. This day was particularly rough, heavy or misty rain and a steep climb to a lighthouse. Worth it though. It was a miserable week in terms of weather in Skye. I was glad I packed a light pocketable camera. This day was particularly rough, heavy or misty rain and a steep climb to a lighthouse. Worth it though. Another from the test film, taken with the 3D printed 120 Scura I downloaded from @doragoodman printed. It worked perfectly. I added a @mia_pinhole_cameras .15 laser drilled hole. I developed the test film from the @doragoodman 120 Scura I downloaded from the website and 3D printed. After I assembled it, I added a @mia_pinhole_cameras .15 laser drilled hole. I got to the Fairy Pools early, before the crowds today. It was lovely, but I think the Ingleton trail is nicer. Maybe the weather influenced me. Heavy rain mostly of the day. I gave up and went back to my dripping, but still standing tent. Finally, to Portree for lunch and a side trip to Gesto Bay, then back to the tent for a surprise! I went to the Lighthouse at Neist Point, fell on my arse in the rain. Worth it though. After such a special morning, I carried on walking to the castle, so tired now. The rain finally stopped this morning so I walked into Glencoe Village.
