The low down…as per usual, I have too many projects on the go.
First, I have a solo exhibition running from 20th November to 19th December. You can see it at HIVE Coffee and Bakehouse, Blackpool. It is run in conjunction with HiveArts, the gallery upstairs. Unfortunately, as it is a 3-hour round trip on a good day, I won’t be there until I am free during the school holidays, which is the final day. The exhibition features the model photos I have posted here before. There are some from this set, along with a few new ones. There are 9 on display in total.

Second, one of my photos has been accepted for an online gallery by The Glasgow Gallery of Photography. I will give you more details of that when it is published and I have something to link to.
Then, of course, there are my experiments and projects.
I have been experimenting with the trichrome process. I have been reading about it and have completed one set of photos, but I want to shoot a couple more film before I write about it. I have a few ideas for the next set of images, but it does take time setting things up. Hopefully, I will complete the next set over the Christmas school break.
Here is one of my first attempts.

Next is a project with stereo cameras. A friend in America sent me my first example. Unfortunately, that one never quite worked, but it piqued my interest. I managed to source 2 more. One was the same as the broken one. Then realised I already had something that could work as a stereo camera. Finally, I bought a fourth, a Viewmaster camera. So now I have four stereo cameras, and a whole new project has emerged. I think I might have a stereo month in the new year, as this one is almost over, and I already have things to post about.
A few other things are happening, or have happened. These include “Develop a Difference” and the Vivid publication.
And on top of all that, I have continued to test junk cameras. A new post about the Minolta V2 will be published in the next few days.
I need a sleep 🙂
