Hello Bluesky

I too have made the switch. Along with millions of others I have switched to Bluesky and deactivated my X account. Not that I used the latter much, but with recently goings on it seemed the right thing to do. you can find my profile and other camera loving people by clicking the button below. It does seem a much friendlier place…for now. Where there are lots of people, people have an effect.

The photography community on Blue Sky is great. Lots of pretty pictures to look at and photographers to discover, enjoy and be inspired by.

The difference with BlueSky is you choose the feeds you want to follow. There’s several Film Photography related feeds and you can also follow hashtags such as #BelieveInFilm #FilmIsNotDead and #ShittyCameraChallenge

It’s basically another platform to learn the ins and outs of. I suppose I will get there eventually.

Good morning. I will continue to read your blog posts as standalone items. Not gonna join Bluesky any more than I joined Twitter/X. Got neither the patience for, nor any interest in, social media of any kind.

I didn’t really use twitter either. There are too many platforms, just like streaming services. But sometimes they are useful.

Didn’t even know you were on twitter. I only use it for the football my list of muted words is growing

I set my blog posts to auto go on twitter, now they go to bluesky. Otherwise I just used it to read gossip and complain to companies that didn’t respond any other way.
