I was sent this link by a good friend and decided to post it on here just in case there is anyone interesting in donating to the cause.
You can read all about the cause at the GoFundMe website. There is an exhibition of some works which has been extended to 26th June. Unfortunately, it is in the USA so I will be unable to see it, but in the future who knows. Here is an article about Charles that makes an interesting read.
Here is the latest post on the GoFundMe campaign post…
Greetings all! Apologies for the recent radio silence, I’ve been busy working on an exhibition of Charles’ photos at the gallery I run in Somerville, the Nave Gallery. The exhibition opened May 4th and based on the strong interest and traffic through the space, I have decided to add 3 more weeks and a closing reception on Wednesday, June 26th 6-8. More details:

My sincere thanks to all of you for making this happen. With the exception of 6 family photos (a self portrait and images of his mother and grandmother), all of the images in the exhibition were made from recently developed and scanned film that was paid for by this fundraiser. In addition to the prints on the walls, we are showing a slideshow of an additional 1000 recovered images which was first put together for Charles’ memorial.
This is just a small percentage of the over 90,000 digital images which I received back from Film Rescue International. And it is still coming in – there’s another batch in the works that has been developed but not yet scanned by our friends in the lab.
Really, I can’t say thank you enough.
Even if you are not able to contribute much or anything, the photos coming back are amazing and I would be interested in any future publications. So I am putting this here to remind myself.
Thanks for posting this. The public exhibits of these photos have been confined to the Boston metro area. I’m hoping the Nave Gallery will see fit to launch a travelling exhibit. Interest in these photos is surely strong across the western nations.
My pleasure, and I hope so too.
