Today I read the news that one of the earliest followers and supporters of this blog, Kurt Ingham lost his battle with cancer. I just wanted to pay a little homage to him and thank him for his support. Early on in this blog’s life he contacted me and has posted many comments over the years.
He supported me in other ways too, sending me film and buying any zine or book I produced. When the covid lockdowns happened and I could not work, he bought cameras from me to help me continue on limited finances.
More than that, he encouraged me and showed me kindness via emails.
I was so proud when he sent me a photo of himself in a t-shirt I created.

I didn’t know about Kurt’s other life, his Dreaded Mr. Twister life, which I only found out about recently. To me, he was a lovely gentleman who supported and helped me when I need it. I will be forever grateful.
My best wishes to Heather, the pooches and his family.
This breaks my heart. You’ll be sorely missed, Kurt.
Sad news. Kurt was an encouragement to us all.
Thank you, Peggy, for a thoughtful and kind memorial. I knew Kurt only via his comments here and on Mike Eckman’s blog. The analog community will miss Kurt’s knowledge and support. Godspeed!
Such sad news.
Un ricordo riconoscente per una persona a sua volta grata.
