I started this blog five years ago and it has finally reached 500,000 hits. That seems absolutely amazing to me. I started it as a way to deal with a personal situation and it has always been a way for me to catalogue the cameras I have tried. I never imagined anyone else would really want to read it. Of course I hoped some people might read it, but ultimately I probably would have carried on anyway.

Saying that, when I started I did have a set end date in mind. I even thought about a set number of cameras to try. In the end I just kept going. It was easy when I was living in Japan, film cameras were cheap and easy to find. Now I am back in the UK it is more expensive, but not impossible to continue.

Anyway, as a thank you I have decided to hold a give away event. I have given away cameras, books and films in the past but usually to friends. This time the giveaway is open to anyone, but the first and second prizes are only available to people living in the UK. Sorry I don’t make any money doing this blog so I can’t really afford to send things to the other side of the world. The third prize is open to everyone no matter where you are in the world as I can send that electronically.

Here are the items up for grabs.

To be eligible for this giveaway you only have to do one thing…follow me on instagram. I will choose a recipient at random from my followers. If you are already a follower then you are already entered, and thanks. You don’t have to follow my blog, you don’t have to send my instagram to anyone else. Just follow my instagram, that is all. The end date for following is March 15th 2021. The winners will be selected at random and contacted on March 20th 2021.

The Prizes
1st – A Pentax MZ-30. You can read about the camera on this blog, just search for the camera in the camera post list or the search bar at the end of the page.

2nd – A limited large (there are only 3 in the world), signed printed copy of the book “25”. You can find details of the book here. The small version in the photo is the version you can buy via the link. That version is more zine-like.

3rd – A PDF version of “25” delivered via email. There are 5 of these available.
