The sign at the lighthouse says, no one knows who painted the stag or when. The area near Bamburgh lighthouse has been known as "Stag Rock" since the late 19th century. I went for a cycle around Bamburgh today. I visited the Grace Darling grave and the site of St. Aidan's death in the church. Finally, a visit to Bamburgh Castle. Lovely @nationaltrust outing to Lindisfarne Castle. Of course you get to see everything as you are stuck my the tide times. No problem, there is loads of ice-cream. Went on a puffin boat tour @farne_islands it was perfect, puffins and blue skies, with a few seals too. Finally developed another roll from a walk to #ilkley and #middletonwoods More from the walk in the woods at Nostell Priory with a half-frame camera. I went for a walk in the woods at Nostell Priory with a half-frame camera. These were taken near the campsite site on my last excursion. A country lane in Suffolk. My job got cancelled so went for a wander.
